Taste of Holland 2016
Utrecht will form the culinary mecca at the heart of The Netherlands for three days of food centred festivities during the Taste of Holland next month. Between February 12 and 14 top restaurants and chefs from all over the Netherlands, as well as brand names and regional producers, will welcome visitors flocking to the first national food festival of its kind in the country. An extensive programmed of interesting talks, treats and workshops have been lined up in what is promised to be a culinary journey around the country proving that The Netherlands is more than just pea soup and syrup waffles.
Visitors will have the chance to get to work in one of the cookery workshops or be inspired by some of the guest speakers and chefs. Small producers and farmers will have equal opportunity to tell their stories behind their artisanal products on Inspiration Stage. Restaurants from all over the Netherlands will have the chance to showcase their signature dishes along with many other events including; Wine Tastings, Meet Dutch brewers, Taste Theatre Academy for Master Chefs, Workshops and tastings, Taste of Kids and much more…
The chef line up of top chefs for this year includes Jonathan Karpathios (Fork and Knife), Justin Brown (Resistance), Julius Jaspers (Julius Bar and Grill) amongst many others, teaching masterclasses and giving live cooking demonstrations.
